Agreed, pretty much all the Harley touring are the same, or very close.

This is the newest touring bike on the block...and probably a lot cheaper too..

I find the frame mounted fairing on the Road Glide offers more stability because you don't feel the effects of wind gusts on the handle bars as much. A humble oppinion...

THAT'S exactly what a salesman told me today when I was looking.....

he said he wished he had bought the RG instaed of the SG for that very reason.........

The RG faring is mounted on the frame, correct??

I don't know why one would be smoother than the other, but I've never ridden both.. I think that's my next project because the dealer said I could go for a 20 or 25 mile cruise across ALLIGATOR ALLEY (I-75)...

so I might take him up on that offer!

The softails have a vibration but it's minimal...........

I'm thinking about the ROAD KING CLASSIC for my next bike, I like the look.

Discontinued but you can trick out a regular RK to look like one. 😜

Any HD Tour bike is smooth.
If you want smooth however, BMW K 1600GTL is Titan missile smooth. Any inline 6 is smooothhh!
