Hey, you guys have been great! Thanks for all the opinions! I just got back from Jackson...picked up filter and some +transmission/primary fluid. I am going with Mobil 1 v-twin 20w50 for the motor oil. They want 120-150 dollars for the service....really not the problem. I work 5 1/2 days a week....they are only open on Saturday till 3:00pm...80+ miles away. Saturdays are for 1000 mile service...first come first serve! They are open Sunday 10:00am till 3:00pm...only ONE mechanic on Sunday taking care of "transient" business. If I leave the bike on Sunday to be looked at during the week, I have to make TWO arrangements to get there and back!

 

Success!! I changed all three fluids...no leaks...and a CLEAN bike! Without a bike lift, it was kind of tough but I used a low profile oil drain pan under the bike. I broke loose all drain plugs and derby bolts before I brought the engine to operating temperature. I used Mobil 1 v-twin 20w-50 in the motor. This really cool runs in the engine...2 1/2 quarts is just the right amount to put back in. I used harley +transmission/primary in the trans and primary...1 quart in each. I put three new o-rings and 1 gasket in and I have no drips. It really is a good feeling to successfully tackle basic maintenence on the bike!
