Default Time for new boots.

Well, my last pair of old black Army boots wore out. Any pros & cons of what is on the market now for rideing boots?
Please don't turn this into a made in china thread.Thanks.

I wear either a pair of Wesco's or a pair of Aerostich CBT's.

Check out either website, but both are great both on and off the bike.

Wolverine work boots. They will last like your army boots and are comfortable. Only drawback, they are a little heavy for long distance walking so just ride.

I have Georgia Boot. Best boot I've had for riding.

I have a pair of Chippewa's and are the most comfortable pair I've ever had. Got them at a western wear store here in town for about $100.

Been wearing a pair of Harley's FXRG boots. A bit on the high side for price but I love them, comfortable and waterproof.

I sometimes wear Dr. marten 8761's, sometimes Dr. Marten 1460's and sometimes 5.11 6" Strike boots. I had all those before I got a motorcycle. I haven't bought any just for that purpose. The DM 8761's are basically like a jump boot with a capped steel toe and thicker soles, if you want something with a lot of comfort, grip, steel toes, ankle support, etc.

If the "Made In" is important, the DM's I wear are Made in England, but the later DM's and the 5.11's are made in Thailand/China/etc.
