Motorcycle Value Program - MVP

Hey Cadman,
I must have missed that announcemant. If it rains you can come to my house, I'm not far from Friendly Farms. Hint, their crab cakes aren't all they're cracked up to be, get the fried chicken.
Here's Baltimore Harley's point system. You need 60 points to get GOLD Level with 15% discount. You'd have to buy 3 bikes to get there.

Online is the way to go. 20% discount and no sales tax = 28%, shipping is minimal. The local Dealer gives 10% just for being a National HOG member. Why pay for a lousy 11% discount?

I ride 20k a year That's 40 points. And 3 tires every year. oil and filter for two bike ever 5k miles. So every now and then a friend will a discount. You know pionts are easy for me. That's why I am gold now plus have 60+ piont all ready for next year. But now baltimore harley has very bad service around for your bike.

I've got a MVP membership, it has paid for itself in parts.
Most regular stuff I get threw a local indy at much lower prices! but it's nice when you need that Harley part, Painted side cover , or some other chrome something.

I only buy online at 20% also. The ONLY thing I buy at a dealer is an oil filter and O-rings and that is ONLY when I don't need anything else. I usually buy from Chicago or Zannottis. I guess I just don't get it, pay to save 11%. That must be that new math they are teaching in school these days.
Oh, and one other thing. A dealer never touches my bike. If I can't do it myself there is a local shop that is happy to do it, charges a FAIR price and doesn't make me feel like I should be honored for them to work on my bike. The only reason I can think of for taking it to the dealer is for warranty work, and with the dealer networks attitude I don't ever see that happening again..

The program is totally worth it! It isn't about how much money you spend, it's about keeping you active in the riding community. I have read a lot of replies and everyone seems to think the only way you get points is by dollars spent, not the case. Mileage, HOG meeting attendance, rides, volunteering. The program is great and totally worth what you put into it!
