My shed is 12 ft deep 10 feet wide i have a cost break down in my post also.https://www.hdforums.com/forum/general-harley-davidson-chat/218583-got-the-ball-rolling-on-a-shed.html

You got that one bassakward; I'd put the bike in the livingroom and if the OL complained - put her in the frickin shed. Then you'd only need the 10x10, it would solve the building permit problem too!

nothing less than a 12x12 trust me .you will use it all i went a little smaller and i have two big wooden boxes outside for all the extra parts and stuff like that.more room the better i have heat i could live in it if i havta.two locks on the doors plus keep the bike lock. and added more twox fours for extra strength. it's build extra strong insurlatated.and i could use more room but it does work pretty good.

Keep this in mind,if you have to struggle to move around, you will get sick of it quickly. You should have a place to set your tool box and work on small projects, plus the room to move around your bike.Without any kind of lift working down on the floor will require a little room just to move around.Good Luck

I've seen of which I'm sure most of you too seen those PVC sheds at Sams Club for $800 that looked plenty big enough for a bike and they had gable vents too to help with condensation issues. It looks like you can ride in one end and ride out the other end. They don't look to insulated though, and I'm not sure if you could insulate them or not. Just a thought. There's also shed companies that will rent you sheds if you don't want to buy right away.

I have to go with a max of 108 square feet, otherwise I need a building permit and all kind of other regulations, such as three feet from property line, apply. I hope I can live with a 10' x 10' shed. I leave my tools inside the house and do not store anything outside - the weather is too extreme in Canada.
I am worried about moisture. Someone mentioned something about a chemical that soaks up moisture like charcoal. Maybe I can leave a bucket of that in the shed.
I will install a floor anchor into my exisiting concrete driveaway and use a noose chain to secure the underbelly of my bike. It's way too easy to kick down the door of a pre-fab shed.
Thanks for the help everyone.
