Drunk Driver kills Motorcyclist
#11
Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law and about this poor 21 year old kid that lost their lives. I have two boys 18 and 20 and if there is one lesson that they never stop hearing, it is NEVER, EVER get behind the wheel if you have had any alcohol.
Lives are lost, and lives are ruined. If this girl's parents are around, I feel bad for them too.

My condolences to the family.... Whether drunk or sober.... whether the victim is a motorcyclist, a bicyclist, a pedestrian, or another motorist... there HAS to be a more fitting punishment.

When I was an E-6 in the Nav I heard they were not letting people who were caught driving drunk have E-7 (CPO) and E-7's caught driving drunk would be thrown out of the Navy.
Needless to say in 1983 I never drove after having one beer again. I let someone else do it
