Ladies......what to do with helmet hair?

My hair isn't very long. I keep it down when I ride, but I carry a ponytail holder and a comb, and when we stop I ponytail it real quick. When I'm not riding, my hair is ponytailed all the time, anyway, so it just feels right.

I have really long and baby fine hair: the only thing that works for me is to french braid it and wear a bandana under the hemet, then when we stop the helmet and bandana come off. If I don't wear the bandana, the little hairs around my forehead come lose and start getting tangled-That hurts!
I've given up trying to look good at the end of the day, I only want to be able to brush it without pulling half of it out. I used to worry what I looked like, until I realized that all the other women who rode to any gathering looked exactly like I did, those who had "perfect" hair probably didn't ride in.
