i can't spend that much $$ on a second bike. i got a honda superhawk 1000. picked it up for 2500. well i'm getting it tomorrow. wish it was a buell, but i can only ride one at a time. so she won't go for it. i am gonna wear my hd tshirt while riding in that is some funny chit there.

Congrats on the second ride. The Superhawk is a terrific bike. And a sportbike makes a nice complement to your Harley. (And living where you do, it'd be a crime not to have a good corner carver).
I ride a GSX-R1000 and a couple of BMW's, in addition to my Road King. I even write for one of the sportbike rags. Gotta say, though, my Harley is the best bike I've ever owned! ;-)

light, torquey, and fast. im a little light for its suspension though. if youre not a "pretty big guy", you might want to have the suspension looked at. other than that it was pretty comfy for a fast bike. stock brake pads were ok, but when they wore out i got some HH rated pads and that was enough to lift that back end off the ground at will, which is good enough for me!
best of all its good slow as well as fast. should be good for the tail of the dragon.

I did the same, after riding sport bikes for 12 yrs I bought a Wide Glide in 07, a year later I bought an '02 Suzuki TL1000R for those days that I'm feeling extra froggy! I love them both.
