Enjoy the rides.
Are you going to be one of those people who won't admit to what they ride?

Congrats on the second ride. The Superhawk is a terrific bike. And a sportbike makes a nice complement to your Harley. (And living where you do, it'd be a crime not to have a good corner carver).

I ride a GSX-R1000 and a couple of BMW's, in addition to my Road King. I even write for one of the sportbike rags. Gotta say, though, my Harley is the best bike I've ever owned! ;-)

one of my bikes is a 2001 superhawk, its a wheelie machine!

light, torquey, and fast. im a little light for its suspension though. if youre not a "pretty big guy", you might want to have the suspension looked at. other than that it was pretty comfy for a fast bike. stock brake pads were ok, but when they wore out i got some HH rated pads and that was enough to lift that back end off the ground at will, which is good enough for me!

best of all its good slow as well as fast. should be good for the tail of the dragon.

No flames from me. I love sport bikes. If I ever add a second bike to the stable, it will probably be an FJ1300R

I did the same, after riding sport bikes for 12 yrs I bought a Wide Glide in 07, a year later I bought an '02 Suzuki TL1000R for those days that I'm feeling extra froggy! I love them both.

Man you will love it, as everyone else said. I have wanted a Yamaha r6 ever since I started riding. The Raven is so sick..
