Seat-road glide
Hey Gang....
Question, I'm Seeking another seat, I have an 08 RG. I would like a seat to put me back and lower. 2 up or solo w/back rest. I need back support but do not want seat to dig into my back either. Any ideas???....I was looking at the HD Brawler, but no back rest...but the seaty looks like it would put me back low...Alos looked at the Danny Gray seats...nice looking, Are they ok???....anyway any suggestions would be VERY welcomed...
Thanks RED

Look at Mustang http://www.mustangseats.com/ seats. I'm puting a "One-Piece Smooth Ultra Touring Seat" on my 07 RG. Before I ordered it I stopped at Aligator Bob's to see how much it would cost for him to use my seat pan and covering and rebuild the seat. It was just under $400. For me the answer was to get a Mustang seat. Expect to pay over $400.
One of Aligator Bob's custom seats starts in the $800-$1000 area and goes up. This guy does some of the best work I have ever seem.
I tried (bought) two HD seats for my 2000 1200C Sporty and wasn't happy until I put a Mustang on.

I have the 3 piece mustang on mine (solo, pillion, and rider backrest) allows me many combinations of seat on the bike.
It definately moved me back, not sure about down tho. I love mine. Corbin seat would move you back and down, but they are hard as a rock. I have one on another bike, and although hard, its comfortable, but my preference is for the Mustang.
if you're anywhere around MD, or will be in Daytona for Biketoberfest, your're welcome to sit on mine and see how it feels.
