Was in my early 20s for all those runs. Im 50 now and probably wouldnt consider it.

Stop between 1 and 2 hours now and my longest trip recently was to Gatlinburg.

 

Ok MP I use to do some long runs my self in my 20's!

 

Back then you REALLY were a ***** if you trailered to Daytona. Use to leave on Thursday night call in sick Friday party down and leave Sunday night and call in sick on Monday Did it on a 66 EG and Always said a prayer before I left that it would make it

 

I had to do a 750 miler earlier in the year. I did it safely, but would rather not do it again. 1-3 in the afternoon is tough after riding all morning. Those kind od rides definately get harder with age.

 

OO HH Daytona back in the day , I remember once , my little prayer didnt get answered ..

Left Norfolk Va and git in NC good and the Pan died HARD .. Stunk ..

Long days on the rigid I dreaded 'em ..

I couldnt imagine a 450-500 miles day on that bike anymore ..

 

I'm good for 12 hours, car or bike. After that I start getting sleepy.
