I'll have to make it a point to stop in there this week. I did see the building being painted the last time I drove by. Hopefully St Charles will finally have a decent stealership to shop at.

I had heard, but didn't want to put it in my earlier post until I tried to confirm it, that Bob Schultz was bought by a dentist from Hanibal, Missouri. In fact it is the dentist that created and marketed the infamous "Billy Bob" teeth. I am hearing the same thing from everybody that I talk to so maybe it is true.
HMMMMMMM, Billy Bob Harley Davidson, has a nice RING to it!!

Long established car dealerships are folding now so I think its a sure bet lots of motorcycle dealers, including Harley dealers, will be folding. THis would be a good time for HD dealerships to improve their crappy customer service.

Greetings,
Well if you go to the Better Business Bureau website and look up Holzhauer Motorsports in Nashville, IL, it's far from stellar. Oh well, I'll wait and see what happens.

I agree Bob Schultz HD stinks .Bought my 08 Nightster from them.Service dept. did look pretty out dated plus no A/C I'd hate to work for them .Still called Bob Schultz though I haven't been there since.I go to Doc's now.

After being in there Monday and haveing talked with the new owner he told me that there is a rating system that Harley has for dealers and that the Bob Schultz dealership was the second worst and I can't believe that anybody could be worse than them. After purchasing 3 bike there in the last 2 years, I'm glad to see the change.

I would like to think that the letter I posted (all over the internet), had a little something to do with William Weffel's demize.

Check out the letter Weffel's lawyer sent me. Notice the name of the lawyer

This is an old thread that I want to bring back. Bob Schultz Motorcycle has been sold, and there is a new owner. I had the pleasure of going in there the other day to look around. I met the new owner. He seemed like a good guy and knew all about the previous problems. It seems that they are very intent on doing whatever it takes to get the trust of the community back. There is a whole new attitude, and I like it!!!!! I for one am excited for them and cannot wait to work with them again. The name of the new dealer is Big St Charles Motorsports. I wish them good luck and much success.

I was in there right before Christmas, parking lot was full, parts people were knowledgeable and they had everything I needed in stock. They did say they were going to be building a new building in the future.

I'm glad and I am now testing the service department. Had an engine viabration that twice Schultz told me it was normal. Now after taking it in they say there is a problem and are trying to find the cause. Makes me feel better knowing they have some real Harley mechanics working there.
