For their PAINT COLORS!
Just a suggestion, but they really need somebody to choose paint colors for their machines.........
Most colors are OK, but don't "blow-me-away"!
ANY Interior Designer could do a better job with colors than the factory does....
TRUST me on this one because I have Interior Designers working for me and they know a Hell-uv-a-lot more about colors than the average man on the street!
Just a thought...... not bashing H-D for their selections.....
Just look at the colors of PORSCHES, BENTLEYS, MASERATI's, ROVERS and the other "high-end" vehicles..... much cooler than H-D!

I feel the color palate is a little subdued this year, except for the CVO's. I'm really liking the bright orange, yellow pearl on the RG's.
I don't know how HD goes about picking the colors, they missed it this year. Last year they brought out Crimson Red, man that was a killer color, 1 yr and it's gone...DUH.

Actually they have 3 shades of black-vivid, pearl and primer flat. HD has some great colors....they just save them for the SE and CVO's....that's how they get ya!

hehehehe..... you guys are too much!
BLACK no doubt is the most beautiful color and probably the most popular......
It's amazing how many black bikes I see at "BIKE NITE"!.........
but if it's not a HARLEY I really can't tell what brand of bike it is.
But the previous poster called it, the officers probably pick the colors........
it really wouldn't hurt to consult a "professional" though just for some insight.
mmmmmmmmmm......... BLACK. Probably my next one...... maybe a ROAD KING????

I think the designer who came up with the Duracell paint scheme bikes is the same one who hired Elton John for Harley's 100th anniversary.

Black is definitely the best looking color for a Harley. Let's face it - it is THE Harley color. I think they did a better job in '09 than '08.
Of all the off-beat colors they've made lately, though, I always loved that Dragonfly green . .
