BC (before chain) lost 2 wallet 8 years since with chain no problem. Who gives a F%&* what people think. I know one thing aint lost a wallet since

 

Wouldn't a chain droop down and scratch up a bagger? (yep, that stupid **** matters to me) Besides, that's why Road Glides have those nifty glove boxes.

Come to think of it, I hate to have anything in my pocket while riding...

 

chain is total function to me . deters pickpockets and possible lost wallet if thay makes me a poser too bad

 

old guy here that has used a chain wallet for about 50 years ..
also have chaps, fingerless gloves, do rag,and a geman style helmet..
also know what is is like to ride a hardtail ,jokey shift, suicide clutch and kick it to get it running linkert carb and a spring on the dist.... yes I could be called a poser at 67 yo I don't really give a rats a$$

 

I wear a "chain wallet", have for years. never lost it once.always know were it is. if I have my pants on, I'm wearing it, if I don't have them on, I don't need it. Pose yourself !

 

I was given one as a gift, wore it a only wore it a few times. The problem was working around telecommunications equipment it snagged on everything. It end up being a safety hazard. Maybe the front pocket chain money clip would have been better.

 

I own a rubber band.

Plastic in the center, bills wraped around the cards. Install rubber band + insert into front pocket.

 

I don't have a wallet. Everything stays in my front pocket. Sitting on a lump makes my back hurt.

But has anyone ever heard of a wallet on a chain getting caught in the wheel ?

And shouldn't HD start selling a belted wallet, since they don't use chain drive anymore ?

 

+1 on the small wallet (card holder) in the front pocket. A lot of men end up with nerve damage or other issues from sitting on a wallet in their *** pocket.

 

I use a chain wallet when i ride, have duplicate driver's lic. keep a credit card in and some cash. Better function for me, then style. I keep my wallet at home with my important ****. Laid my sporty down and looked like i had a garage sale! **** i had to gather up cell phone,glasses, and wallet looked like was on a cheese grinder and doc's in a paper shredder.
