There's a reason they exist. Functionally, now nylon is more durable and practical but there are those that have to jingle when they walk. I do the money clip and keep the actual wallet light. You only need one or 2 credit cards, license and insurance card. Photo albums you can carry in the saddlebags if necessary!

My wallet rides in the tour pak because I don't like sitting on it. That said, chain wallets put me in mind of Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction....when he tells the would be robber to get his wallet out of the bag.....the one that says Bad ************ on it. I wouldn't carry either, but that just me....

I think they're probably a good idea, but I don't have one because:
1. I'm not transferring my stuff back and forth between wallets and chain wallets don't go with my work clothes - not to mention having to go through a lot of metal detectors.
2. Most chain wallets aren't going to fit in my pants pocket and if I use my jacket pocket I don't need a chain; and
3. Mall-gangsta-whigga-kidrock types wear them and they are the lowest scum on earth.

However, I might just get one of those Samual L. Jackson wallets.

Maybe I'll make my own - a regular size wallet with a grommet that I can attach a chain to when I ride...and it will say "BAD MOTHERF*****" on it.

FastHoss, check this out http://www.beza.biz/windzone/catalog...va_chain_clamp
It works, it's secure, and doesn't stick out like a regular chain wallet.

Me too, except the wallet NEVER leaves my front pocket.

I had a chain wallet back when I was a young buck. Worked nicely. Of course back then............. there were no posers yet (no cell phones either).

Well at least someone added something of some value,, I don't wear my billfold when I ride it's down right uncomfortable,, I think that product would work really good and I could leave the billfold at home, might just have to purchase one.

Thanks Charley! I have had the same chain wallet for almost 15 years or more. And I have been through 3 chains now. The last chain I had some wench was drunk at a bar and though she could hang on it like a monkey and broke it. now i have a littler heavier duty one. I also am not a whigger, poser, etc. Atleast I don't wear a fanny pack and shorts and flip flops while riding. I also don't have to worry about my wallet falling out of my back pocket when riding 100 plus mph!

Hehehe! The thing I don't get and I might be straying a bit is the chain from the ear to the nose?? I have ridden triple digits and never lost my nose!
