I put the gear drives in the RKC this year and the Fatboy will get them in the spring. You get a little whine from the gear drives but after a while you don't notice it at all I actually get more whine out of the wife!

 

Converting to gear drive appeals to me. Maybe go with S&S kit #33-5177. I'd like to do the work myself, but I don't know. I'll see what the indy has to say first.

 

My tensioners scored up my oil pump. I had to replace it. Piece of crap design came close to damaging my engine. Went with gear drive, new cams, new oil pump, and bearing.
