Default After 25 degree injectors are installed

Any bad driveability with the new 25 degree injectors? My buddy has a 06 ultra that the our dealer has so far refused to install the 25 degree
inectors in even though it it stalls and runs bad when cold. he showed the service manager the bulletin about 3 weeks ago before he even
got it from HD. His most recent story is that they have installed the injectors in 5 bikes and they ran so poorly that they want there old
injectors reinstalled! HOGwash! I don't believe him. He acts as if it is his money instead of the motor companys. We want to know if he is full of crap!
(We both bought our bikes at the same dealer)

Anyway has anyone had bad results from the new injectors?
Has the 25 degree injector replacement cured your ills?

The only way I can think of the result being "bad" is if when the injectors are changed the attendant download is not performed as well.

Several riders have posted in the touring forum that their problem bikes are running great since the injector swap and the remap.

That's BS I had mine done on Tuesday and the problems are gone and as a matter of fact the bike runs better than ever. I can't get over the difference the change made.

I do know that the dealer has to get approval for the change to be covered. Also some dealers have had to eat the cost of the new download just to keep their customer happy.

I would start by calling MOCO customer service. make sure you point out your concerns as to it being a safety issue as well...

If you have done the stage one and improved your exhaust, you probably don't want to get the ECM re-mapped. As I have heard it said, the re-flash is for stock 88s and it will lean the bike out.

I have a 06 EG, March Mgf, and it came with the 25d injectors and it runs like a Champ stock. I wanted to see how it ran bone stock before any up grades. So far, bone stock I have NOT had any problems with the bike. I will put a 1000 miles on before any Mods........ hdman

that is exactly what you need to do...emphasize safety concerns...MOCO doesn't want you being rearended when your bike stutters/stalls when you're pulling out from a stop.
mine was done back in Sept. 05..........runs smoother and cooler
