I have an appointment this Wednesday due to learching, poor gas mileage and no top end (96 mph max) that recently began and will take the service bulletine with me. I have pipes/stage one/sert. Bought December 31st so it was before the changeover. Will post results.

 

I got my 2006 EG std around Christmas and now have about 1,500 miles on it. I have never had any of the stalling/shuttering problems people refer to, but the bike gets only about 40 mpg and really doesn't seem to have much power over 80 mph. Right now the bike is bone stock. Do you think the new injectors would help with gas mileage & top end?

I haven't really been paying attention to this issue. What model years are affected?

 

I had the stumbling off-idle problem that happened about 10 times in my first 50 miles. By the time I got it to another dealer, it stalled on them trying to load it into the trailer. Got the 25's a few days ago. Just did 60 miles today with temps in the high 30's and the bike ran like an absolute dream! Not a single sputter in lots of cold, in-town riding. If his bike has the same problems, I don't see how the injectors could make things any worse! I'd say [sm=bs.gif] to the dealer's story!
