Default Did *anyone* really fall in love with the Rocker?

I stopped by my local stealership the other day to see some of the 09's (the VROD Muscle in particular, hasn't arrived yet), and I noticed something out of place. Went and took a closer look, and it was a Rocker. Now I gotta say, I really liked it at first, thought it was a really cool & unique design, but dang if it's not a superfluously ugly ride. It seriously looks like someone took a full-size chopper and put it through the wash. The Rocker C is certainly better-looking, the powder coating on the standard looks like plastic, but then again it's still probably the most uncomfortable bike I've ever sat on. Just my $.02.

Did anyone around here buy one and keep it?

I agree. I was considering the Rockr and after looking at it over and over for a month or so I ended up buying the more traditional FXDSE. T I think the seat design bugged me the most.

Did you find the seat really uncomfortable? Now I know what the average woman feels like after a visit to the OBGYN...

*ducks*

Hey, I'm married. I can say stuff like that.

I almost bought a Rocker ...... had a brief moment of sanity and got a Heritage instead.
I like the looks of the Rocker.

I like the looks also. Would be a second bike, not a primary. Or I would have to be uhhh, five years younger...yea, that!!

I didn't fall in love with it but I thought it was a cool design. I would buy one if I had the funds. One can never have too many bikes.

I agree, rode one at a demo day. Road terrible, could wait to get off of it and try something else. Like the looks though.

I'm sure there's plenty who like, it's the same as any bike it will appeal to some and no to others. I'm not a huge fan of it myself although it is nice looking. Finally saw a Rocker C going down the freeway last weekend with someone on the fold out passenger seat, not something I would want to be doing on that little seat.

Apparently H-D is betting on selling a bunch of them, the showrooms around Charlotte have plenty of the '09 Rockers but not much else. Very uncomfortable bikes...
