I really liked it when HD posted photos and such. I just got tired of waiting for it to finally come out and got my Fatty.......

you know what they say - "Once you go Fat - you'll never go back"

Why do we need to defend our choice of bike?

I've often wondered why people feel the need to start threads bashing other peoples choice of rides. If you didn't like it don't buy it, it's really that simple

I don't like alot of the bikes I see here, but I figure to each their own. I personally like having a bike when I ride up to a group it will look different. Of course there are alot of people that want to pull up and look just like the other 40 bikes sitting their too.

Quit worrying about what others ride and just get out and ride

I liked it, but 500 dollars a month is BS to me. I just bought my 86 Sporty and have more fun then i probably would not want to work on it, like I have fun working on it with my sporty.

Greetings,

The Rocker C is uncomfortable? Humm...I've been as far as 1300 miles in a day with no issues. The Rocker C is ugly? To each their own...Looks much better than a Nightster or a Cross Bones anyday of the week. I'll put 20,000-25,000 miles on it like I do any Harley I've owned in the past and then get something different. I too don't feel the need to defend my bike. If you don't like it or have a problem with it, you're probably not the kind of person I'd ride with anyway.

I didn't think it was too bad in the pictures, but when I saw it in person, it was not my cup of tea at all. The plastic looking stuff really looked like shiet!
The bike might look ok with a different seat, but I doubt that it will make
it ride any better. That afterthought passanger seat, is a total joke.
I doubt that this model will last very long, maybe a collector piece?
Doubt that too! I wonder if there are any embarrased designers at harley now?
Peace

To me it looked "bigger" in the pictures, after I saw one I wasn't too impressed, but to each his own.

I just don't get the factory custom deal. If you want a chopper just go out and chop up an old ultra or something.
As for a second bike, I'm totaly happy with my King. I'd buy a dirt bike instead. Instead of dropping 16K on a Rocker, you could get a couple of jet ski's or a used boat.
As for the Rocker being your primary? You got to be kidding. Where to put your stuff and getting blown around on the highway .... no thanks. Silly idea Harley ... why not invest into improving V-Rod line with a touring model. Although that would likely get slammed also.

As said earlier, to each his own........

Probably because they are secure in their choice and could give a F*CK what the rest of us think...
