Im a new rider and i was wondering what do you carry in your saddlebag. Anything in particular that is a must while im on the road?

 

Oh good..........another "whats in your saddlebag" thread. Try this, carry whatever you want in them. And.....don't care what anyone else thinks. This whole country is turning into a bunch of people that can't seem to think for themselves.

 

I have beer, wine, bourbon, and just a small bit of shine in the left one. Reefer, LSD, crack, and speed in the right. My tour pack is full of porno magazines and condoms. Never know where I might be and a party break out..... Just sayin'.....

BTW, the porno magazines are for if I am caught somewhere and a party doesn't break out!

 

A toolkit, first aid kit, oil, water, rainsuit... the rest is up to you. Give the guy a break, he was only askin'

 

In my left bag I carry Empty Garbage Bags, Rain Gear and Skid Lid Helmet. In my right bag I carry extra gloves, glasses, tools, flash light and jiffy coaster. Also Leather if it is going to be cool out.

 

WOW that was rude! You were a new rider once too. He was only asking a question in an attempt to be better prepared on the rode.

I have some basic tools, rain gear, gloves, glucose tablets and ibuprophen all the time. Other than that it's whatever I need for that ride. Chaps, Coat, cooler....whatever. Hope that helps!

 

Depends on the time of the year. Sunscreen and rain gear in all summer and out in the winter. Winter gloves, stocking cap, chaps, etc. in the winter. Tools all the time. Depending on where I'm headed - a case of brew.

 

What's a saddlebag?

 

Left saddlebag:
Satellite phone, Walther PPK, C-4, detonators

Right saddlebag:
Tuxedo, Chilled bottle of Bollinger (La Grande Annee), Passport, Condoms
