I have this on the sportster. It's a replacement bulb. Just change the bulb...that's it.

Don't know if he was blowin smoke up my *** or not but back in the 80's I had a deal like that on my bike and a cop in seattle pulled me over and told me it was illegal for any vehicle other than an "emergency" vehicle to have a flashing red light. He didn't write me a ticket but said I needed to disconnect it.

There are regulations covering the number of flashes and duration. The Kriss model has a number of programs available, one of which is 'legal'. Many newer cars have flashing brake ights as std equipment, including my 04 Lincoln LS.

I just took one off my RKC it was nice because the turnsignals came on with the tail light and the brake lite flashed three times when it came on but something is messed up and the lights were all screwed up so until I find the problem it is off for now!

I had the module from www.signaldynamics.com on my 06 worked great to flash my tourpack brake lights. I will order another for my 09 UC. I have seen some guys have gone to the emergency/police store and bought a white strobe and a red strob to put on their bikes. Can not miss them at a light. I would put a button on the handle bars so they do not flash all the time. Only use when I would go thru a tuff looking intersection or when a speeder is comming up behind at a light. Would be great for a tailgater.

I flashed my brake light earlier tonight. I didn't get any response. I guess it wasn't all that impressed. I'm going back to flashing the hot chick who lives across the street.
