Default White Wall tires - Your opinion please

Time for new tires soon. I'm going to put on Metzlers and am considering white walls. I'm having a difficult time envisioning it. I think it will look good but is it better with black? What do you think?

Whitewalls belong on a Heritage. I even like them on my Roadkill.

Love the look, hate cleaning them. If you have someone to do the cleaning they're great, if not.......

I feel that on certain bikes whitewalls give them a certain nostalgic look. One thing that you might do is this, go down to the section below the bike section of the forum and look at their pics. They have pics of all the bike groups and they might have some bikes in there with whitewall tires on them that you could look at and help you out a little.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I love the whitewalls. Just get some Westley's Bleach White and it will keep your tires clean. Blackwalls are just too plain for me.

They should look great. The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads work great on whitewalls too.

Bad idea. Nothing good comes of whitewalls. If you intend to ride, get black. If you intend to show and clean all damn day, get white. Dirty bikes are happy bikes...
