Same here, but it hasn't always done that. It started about the time stations in our area shifted over to 10% ethanol blend, so I'm blaming the ethanol.

 

The little metal circle from the center of my Tach needle fell off and is bouncin around under the glass.. It's a factory sealed tach which I have once before pryed up the metal lip all the way around to open it and fix this.. To much of a pita to wanna mess with it again..

 

Have no quirks,I guess building Harleys you learn how to build out the quirks.Most of the people I know seem quite content with their rides.

 

faulty steering: It pulls into every honky tonk and bar it comes to.

 

1) The horn sounds too sissified.
2) The pipes are not loud enough.
3) The front brakes squeek.
4) The gas cap has no holder.
5) There's no beer holder.
6) My cigarettes burn up too fast when riding.
7) The engine bogs when accelerating when cold.
8) The needle on the speedometer bounces (like a boat speedometer).
9) No stereo.
10) I have to hang on real tight, or land on the pavement behind the bike.
11) The payment
12) The insurance
13) The head light vibrates at low speed.
14) The mirrors vibrate unless you pull in the clutch when riding.


.....Should I go on?

 

Mine seems to have developed a auto-choke.

Mine develops a bit of an attitude if it sits for more than 2 days, its like having a second wife nagging at you. Ride me!Ride me!

 

how about condensation under the glass of the speedometer. mine and my buddies 07 hertiage can't get the condensation out. lady at the harley dealer said thats just harley for ya. wth

 

Mine suddenly slows down whenever I wave with my right hand???????????
