Passenger backrest failure be careful!!!!!

I have seen that before but it was because someone jammed it in. On mine I need to pucs my connectors in. Otherwise they will not lock it.
I always pull on mine before I pull away. I also pull mine reg. as I have a 2 up seat & it looks cool with out

Guys just be cautious it was not the rear of it that caused the problem. The rear was locked in otherwise it wouldve fell clear off the bike. The FRONTs came out due to the rubber grommets breaking, tearing, failing... whatever you wanna call it. I am buying the aluminum ones from this site, I highly recommend everyone do the same. Its a cheap piece of mind for your passengers safety.

The rubber grommets (lack of better term) are on the bike where the front of the detach backrest slides onto the bike, maybe its different on the other models?

I chose the bolt on brackets for my sissy bar since it's not going anywhere. My wife won't ride without it, and it's much cheaper to buy the direct mount parts. It's easy to bolt on and as long as the bolts stay tight we're good.
