Fuel milage

Personally, 37 mpg on the highway on a new bike is a warranty issue. The canned map is a reasonable tune. You should be in the mid-40's. That you're not gives good cause to think there is a mechanical problem.
Most likely what you paid for are dyno runs, not a dyno tune. Dyno runs are basically like street tests. If you paid in the $300-$500 range then you mostly paid for a SERT. A dyno tune would cost you $400-$500 excluding the cost of the SERT. Buying a SEST from a dealer would cost you $500. They might have done dyno runs to verify, train and do obvious corrections to the map. They may not have particularly paid attention if there was any evidence of a mechanical problem. So you might ask them to look at the dyno sheets with an eye towards whether you are getting the torque you should and whether there is any indication of a mechanical problem.

It seems that fuel mileage varies greatly based on peoples reports but it doesn't seem like yours is that low. I'm getting 35 to 39 MPG on my 96" 07 StreetBob with a PCIII, V&H pipes and S&S air cleaner so you
MPG falls within my range.
I've been thinking of playing with the settings on the PCIII to see if I can get my mileage over 40 MPG but I only ride it around town and for fun - not for long rides so it hasn't been a high priority for me. By comparison I have an 88" RoadKing, with a stage one download, pipes and a Ness air cleaner, which gets about 48 to 52 MPG.

Seems mileage has so many variables that it gets hard to compare one bike with another.
Good luck!

Ive asked other RK owners they get about 50 mpg hwy, stock.
This thread is really pissing me off only getting 25mpg and 30+ Hwy. Is this supercharger really worth it.

I have a glide classic with a s/e air cleaner slipons and a pcIII and if you saw my map you would $hit... I had it dynoed by a buddy and he took more fuel outta the thing ????? It really is cold blooded but once it warms up it runs like a raped ape and i get 42/45 and thats combined hiway and back roads as i ride hiway to work and back roads home... Its and 06 88 and i have 75hp and 76 ft lbs of torque and it really pulls... I still look at the map and kinda wonder but it runs great so im leaving it alone..

I'm averaging 44.5 over the past 5k miles on my 08 Bob. Only performance mods are V&H slipons and XiEDs. This is about 50/50 Interstate and West Virginia twisties.

My mechanic had a custom softail with the small eaton supercharger on a 80" and he got about 25mpg. Now he has a hardtail 142" with the big eaton supercharger and he gets about 25 miles on a peanut tank before he hits reserve. But he always gets there first. lol
