Wrong, how do you think hydraulics work, it might not compress much but liquids do compress.

as far as running out of gas, here in the Southeast you can't throw a rock twice without it hitting at least one gas station, it might be owned by one of them there towel heads, and might not be the most preferable place to fill up, but it will work in a pinch.

I have seen places that warn of ....say '57 miles to next gas stop', and I think I saw a sign near the Smokey Mtns. that warned me of "last gas for 27 miles".
I think in Key West, FL, before you hit the BIG bridge, it warns......'next gas 7 miles'.
You get a warning? HEY! GAS up.
Years ago, while out riding, I happened upon an empty fuel tank.
Lickily, I was within sight of a farm house. I walked up and explained my situation.....
asked how far to a gas station.....5 miles. I asked for two gallons of gas if they had it to spare.
For $10...I got two gallons of gas and a big glass of ice tea and a sugar cookie.
(They did not ask for the 10 bucks.......it is what I thought 2 gallons of gas/tea, and a cookie in the middle of no where would fetch on the open market.)

Hydraulics work because you cannot compress a liquid. Something has to move.

I think the stuff you're thinking of is called "Rescue". IIRC, it's a 1/2 gallon of some liquid that will burn like gas, but it doesn't "spoil" like gas.

MSR makes fuel bottles up to 33oz. for 14.95 which would get you a little way down the road in a pinch. REI sells a pour spout for them also for 5.25 so you don't spill fuel all over your tank.

I carry a bottle of instant gas pills. Just add one to a gallon of water and, PRESTO, a gallon of gas.

Everything is compressable only to less degrees.

Oxygen is changed into a liquid by coooling it not compressing it.

No, not wrong, right. For all practical purposes you cannot compress a liquid. How do you think hydraulics work? I think they work because you can't compress a liquid. You can pressurize a liquid .
