Would he have received more time had he stopped his car pulled a gun and shot the biker?
The end result was the same for the biker.

But SUV's don't kill people, guns kill people! 5 years is definitely not enough regardless of what losses of income, property, etc. occur. The victim didn't have that option.

Why would someone what to harm another person, just for passing on the road? This just doesn't make any sense at all. This man is a killer and needs to be taking off the streets.
