Dealers that aren't price gouging?
I plan to buy myself a new bike as a retirement gift to myself early next year. I've talked to a few dealers and all the new style dealerships seem to be charging quite a bit more than Harley's MSRP. What's the F'ing point of having a MSRP if you can only get new bikes at the dealer and they have the prices all jacked up??
Anyway, I'll be looking around the western NC/S. Illinois or Dayton Ohio area...depending on what job I get after my Air Force retirement
Anybody selling at MSRP or lower?
Thanks
Bryan

Some dealers sell above MSRP because some people are willing to pay it. It's called the market. Your location says W. NC so I don't know if that stands for Western North Carolina or Wilmington, North Carolina. If it's the former, you might want to check Crossroads HD in Wilkesboro. That's where I bought mine and I got a good deal. They are also reasonably priced for service, at least for a dealership.

MSRP+ Really?, thought those days were gone. Definitely not the norm at any of the 4-5 dealers in my neck of the woods in NJ/PA. Norm imo would be $1000-1500 under MSRP. I guess if I was the only dealer in 50 miles I'd be tempted to get as much as I could for my product.

I'm gonna spend the weekend in Put-In Bay, leaving tomorrow morning. I'll visit them and check their prices. Thanks for the tip.
