Dealers that aren't price gouging?

Doesn't HD offer special deals to Military folks? Or is that old news? I have heard urban legends of people having military friends&family buy bikes for them becuase deals are so good.

The only time HD offers deals to military is if you are overseas. I could buy one over there and pick it up in the states when I come home. A few car dealers do the same. I bought a Jeep that way. Saved me $3000

Liberty HD in Akron ohio is always very competitive. I bought my FXDL $1000 under MSRP 2 1/2 years ago. The 1000 mile service was included. They do offer military discounts as well.

Carolina HD in Gastonia, NC. I just bought a '09 FXDC at MSRP, got them to waive the setup and doc fees, include the 1k service, 10% off all accessories ordered with the bike, and a free weekend rental because the ship date is mid September. Good luck!

If I remember correctly I think Cape Fear HD in Fayetteville sells at MSRP. Don't know how far in western NC you are.

I just bought a 2008 Road King about a month ago, from McMahon's In Beaver Falls Pa. they had it listed at MSRP + freight, But They knocked off almost 1300 off that price and gave me more than my sportster was worth for trade, I fell I did good and they treated me very well.

My bike was $9999 MSRP.
+ $400 "prep" fee
+ $150 "processing" fee
+ $200 "docking" fee
They didn't gouge the MSRP price, they just added a bunch of BS fees. But hey, if I didn't pay it somebody else would ...
