Where should I stick my screwdriver?!?
Before you flame, I did use the search.
Carburator idle speed screw: on my '98 sporty, I used to stick my screwdriver in between the tank and air filter to simply adjust my idle speed.
I'm guessing the fat tank on my '06 softail is hiding it, do I need to remove the air filter assembly to adjust the idle speed? Okay, now flame away (I gots thick skin)..., as long as I get one serious answer, I'll be happy.

You just know yer gonna get about 100 of those reponses don't ya?
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Names for places where it may be stuck include: yer butt, a$$, booty, ****, badonkadonk, buttocks, bum, bottom, buns, anus, behind, rump, backside, keister, or junk in the trunk.
That should pre-empt a lot of those silly responses.

if you rmeove your AC, the idle will change becuase its receiving more air, and any changes you make wont matter when you put the AC back on.
you get probably getaway with a universal joint extension for a ratched and put the correct sized screwdriver tip on the end rather than a socket, i do it for hard to reach screws

Ya ya, it's cool. I flame people all the time on the Dean guitar forum..., as long as I get to adjust (lower) my idle, I'll be thrilled!!! Seems to me, now that the engine is "broken in", the idle speed has sped up a tad.
I will skim thru the jokes, laugh, drink a beer tonight..., and hopefully have a serious answer my mornin'!!!
