Default Thunder in The Sand this weekend in Conesville, IA?

Thunder In the Sand 2008 - Conesville, Iowa.

I'm going for the first time this year and was wondering if anyone else from HDF will be down there?

Anyone been there before? Good times? Lets hear some stories!

Hate to say it but been there, got the t shirt. lol It was lots of fun, but pretty soon the nudity gets old, and the prices for drinks seems too high. All in all, havent been back for about 3 years. Have fun...

I was there last year. Total blast, bands are great, lots of hot women, drag races all day saturday. I didn't think it was to expensive. Heck $40bucks to get in for non stop fun doesn't seem bad to me. I think beers were $2 but you can alway bring in your own. My buddies all bailed at the last minute this year due to lack of funding, I'm seriously considering heading down there myself. Way too much fun to miss.

I can't wait - we're taking off from Minnesota at 9:00 AM tomorrow and taking the 350 mile trek down.

Coolers are packed - bikes loaded and we'll be ready to go - the weather sounds perfect!

Let's see here.

You are leaving a German beer drinkin' community, to go to a beer drinkin', biker and babe fest in a neighboring state. And you're wondering if you'll have a good time. Hmmmm.
Haven't been there for 3 yrs, but the memories (and mammaries) linger.
If you have the time and $$ for gas, shoot over to Hiway 61 (River road) and take that down if you haven't thought about it. Or do it coming home, 'cept you'll prob'ly be too hung over to enjoy the scenery.
218 down to Waterloo, then 380, is the fastest way I know of. We use that a lot to avoid Wi. (Black/wht state, not the ppl )

Ride safe, keep your nose clean, and have a GREAT ride and weekend.

Post pics, the 2 that will pass muster on here , when you git back.

Default Conesville Picks

Jwilly thanks for posting the picks. Good Memories from this rally.

I got a good pic of the Camel Toe bitch pad on that soft tail I'll try to post. Gotta love that one... That flame skull on that bagger was killer, if he would have only left the flame off the top of the bags that mother was a winner.
