Bottom line...vented jackets do work on the hwy...but around town and in traffic...not so much!!
Same here. On really hot days, I don't wear a jacket at all.

Cheers!

I got my perforated jacket from Chicago H.D. for $165.00. A great investment . Good for early mornings and late evenings as long as you keep moving in hot and humid S. TX.

Ditto, I wear mesh with armor when it's hot, cooler then a t-shirt only. Leather when the temps come down.

Default leather vs mesh

I have a leather jacket with a bunch of zippers. They make a difference but as others have said, when you are not moving, you get hot. I wear a mesh jacket with armor when it is warm out. I will send you a pm to one for $90.

I have a perforated leather jacket from Fox Creek. With just a tee shirt on underneath it's like air conditioning. 8 D But when you're stopped and it's hot you're going to get hot. No getting around that with any jacket.

I have the vented bomber jacket from Fox Creek Leather. It has zipper vents in the sleeves, front and back. There's an inner zipper lining so you can keep the outer part unzipped also. You're still wearing a leather jacket, so it's obviously hotter than not wearing one, but it does provide comfort over not having vents.

Light long sleeve shirt in summer is the most I will run when its hot. Most of the time I were just t-shirts. Have perforated jacket it is cooler than a non perforated jacket but both are hot in the summer. My Question is why are you wearing a jacket? Protection from sun or road rash?

I wear this jacket all summer even in 100+ days. It is mesh and protects me from the sun but lets the air flow through when I am moving. You do have to take it off when you stop for gas etc.

Men's Stock Mesh Jacket
Nylon mesh jacket with zipper front and perforated liner. Body armor pockets in shoulders and elbows fit lightweight body armor. Pre-curved sleeves, adjustable cuffs and waist tabs. Mandarin collar. Two zippered hand-warmer pockets. Reflective piping. Bar & Shield logo on left chest and back.

98255-07VM
MSRP US $99.00 - US $119.00 per size and/or color
