Default Goldwing saved my a$$!!!

So, I was going out yesterday on my bike to meet up with a buddy to go riding, when all of a sudden my bike stalls at a stop light, I look down and see that a clamp has broke off of the manifold to my carb, so like all of us who broke down once in a while, i was like Then before I even realize a Guy on a 2008 GoldWing is right behind me asking If I needed help. We pulled off the road asked if I had tools I said I have them just no part *obviously* He looks at me and says "Lets go get ur part" I look and say "You want me to ride on that with you?" then he tells me "How the F*** else you going to get there?" with a grin on his face. LoL. So as we're going to the place to get my part he says Harley guys hate when they see a Honda pull in with a Harley guy on the back broke down. I tell him "Bro as long as it has 2 wheels and runs It's alright with me, we're all brothers on the road" So basically thanks to the guy and the Goldwing he was riding he def saved my A$$

P.S Anyone who is Riding and sees a Motorcycle on the side...Just stop and see if their ok...One Day it could be You!

Very good advise. I always stop, even when in a cage.

What a touching story, even though the winger was trying to stick it to the HD dealer saying "neener neener neener neener!"

Yes very touching, just that I cant get past the fact that you rode on the back of some guys bike, are you a chick? I would have just given him the cash and let him go get the part or just walked to the dealer. Living in So Fla when you see two dudes on a bike HD or a Honda you can guess what your looking at,yep, fingerless glove, assless chap wearing "happy" people.

Hope you got back on the road and had a good ride.

Good advice on stopping to check on other riders.

I know how he feels .. kinda , sorta ..

We live out in the country and I leave for werk between midnite and 0500 , this past Thursday , went to barn , fired up Bagger .. Pull out to road , and jus as I stop at the road , this winger goes flying by ..
Its about three miles to first traffic light , he's easing along and I'm gaining on him , just as I get to the first light , it changes , so I ease on thru , and he catches me at next light , we both are stopped , and he says "these mornings sure have been nice the last few days for riding to werk " , I reply yep , light changes and we go on our seperate ways ..

Please dont ban me for speaking to him , I see him a lot , but now he knows where I live !!!!

I feel bad , like I have betrayed a secret trust or sumpthin' ..

If it has two wheels it's interesting to me, some bikes more than others. I ride HD because of the things I like about them. Doesn't make me better or lesser... just what I like to ride.

Since learning about "The Code", when in the cage I have stopped to help a Honda Shadow rider, a Yamaha V Star rider, etc. But I wouldn't hesitate to help any/all that I can, circumstances permitting.

Biking: It's all good.
