Default Keep the RG or trade up to an Ultra?

Wife and I sat on an 06 Ultra and found it very comfy. Add to that all the bells and whistles that the RG doesnt have, we are seriously considering a trade up?
Should we or should we wait for maybe an 07?

The whole reason I went to the Ultra was because of all the 2 up riding we do now. I can't see doing any other 2 up riding on anything but the Ultra. My .02

I'm biased, because I ride a Ultra, and have never had a Glide. That said, I have had a couple of Goldwings, so I do understand the frame mounted fairing riding style. I like the Ultra better for real highway cruising. Slow speed corners are a little heavier, but not so much that you'd notice.

As far as the 07, is ther many changes coming? If not, why wait?

I don't know WHAT you are trading UP too?

Could you explain?

Why not just take the money you are going to loose and redo the Glide a bit?

You mentioned comfort but I cant see how the Ultra is going to ride better then the RG.

Maybe a set of 440's and a Mustang Touring for you guys?

I just need to see how trading to an Ultra is moving UP from a Road Glide?

OK,

Keep the roadglide and add the 4 speaker ultra kit from Pez. You've already got the king tour pak and cruise control. The only thing you won't have is a CB and lowers and you can order lowers. Your Roadie will handle better and that is what you are use too.

The Ultra won't ride as well as the RG. The RG might not be a popular, but it is the most capable touring bike sold by Harley. If they'd just give us more fuel capacity they'd really have something.
