Took My Wife For Her Very First Ride!
I've been riding for several years now and hadn't been able to get my wife on the back of a bike. She always seemed really nervous and I never pushed the issue with her...my feeling is that with bikes you never force anyone to do something they don't want to.
So, imagine my surprise this past Sunday when she asks if we can go for a ride! It was great, we tooled around town and then down the highway through another few small towns & then looped back and went home. The total time we were out was only about an hour, but she really enjoyed herself. You should have seen the smile on her face when we arrived home. She's already planning our next ride for this weekend.

I was the same way with my hubby. I refused to ride with him for years, but once he got me on, I was hooked. Now he has an Ultra and I ride the Sporty. I can't believe I waited so long to start riding!

Well I have an extra bike if my wife starts riding. I think I'd miss riding without her on the back.

My wife hasn't road with me yet. I'm not pushing either because I knew riding would be my thing when I got the RKC. But has been telling lately that we need to get her a helmet and she will give it a try. I'm not convienced, she doesn't even like the top down on my convertible because it messes up her hair. I can't imagine she will find helmet hair to be attractive. I do think a wife on a bike is sexy

On our 1st date I picked my wife up on my bike and that was many moons ago. Her dumbass father never questioned it and away we went. Nearly 30 years, 2 children and 1 grandchild later, she still rides with me. I gues she likes bikes.

I can't get my wife off my bike! LOL! She has taken the MSF coarse and as soon as we can afford another bike, she'll have one. She may deploy to Iraq in January and we would have the cash for a virago or older 883. She wants a Triumph scrambler, but we aren't looking to drop $8000 just yet. The military doesn't pay that well
