...it snowed in the high-country of Colorado last night. Yup, ridin' seasons about over.

The thing I like about the Texas coast is that winter is very short. A couple of months at the most. I have never had a bike sit for over a week because of cold. They have sat for a week over rain. Before anyone makes a smart *** remark about rain. I don't leave the house riding when its raining but if I get caught by the rain--so be it . The rides still on and rain does not end a ride.

Where did it snow? I just returned from a Santa Fe, Durango, Silverton, Ouray, Ridgeway, Montrose, Cripple Creek run. Wow I love Colorado! We got hailed on at Raton Pass on the way home. Hail Sucks!

We rode most of the year in Colo. If the roads were dry and it was over 45 degrees we wer out. I can remember leaving the Little Bear in Evergreen one evening and having to brush the snow off the seat. I was glad I only lived 10 miles away.

Okay, that's it......no more complaining about snow in Canada you guys. Damn, snow in August? That's really high-country......up here we won't see anything until December usually (then again, that's only 3 1/2 months away)

Oh that sucks. Colorado does have wacky weather like that. I'm sure it'll melt in no time.
