Great on passing the test. I done mine about ten years ago. Just remember to go slow for a while, and always watch out for the cars, and don't get to close if their in front of you.

Congratulations Suburban Mom
I'm a police supervisor and have two motor officers that work on my shift.
A couple of weeks ago we go to the Riders Edge class to do a demonstration and you guessed it....one of my guys goes into a corner a "little too hot" and lays down that big ole Police Electra Glide...right in front of the whole class.
My guy made a great recovery by immediately telling the class that reguardless of their skill level, they too can dump a bike. He then showed them how to pick up a big bike and finished out the demonstration!
Have fun and ride at your comfort level!

Congradulations Mom, but I think the next few years will teach you far greater than any course could. I'm a firm believer in the road's where you learn. After you dump it (and you will, we all do) you'll teach yourself on picking it up and riding again. Have lots of fun to quote Jimmy Stewart "It's a wonderful life."

Congrats! Enjoy your new found freedom. I took a BRC last week as a 'support' to my wife who is a new rider. After 37 years of riding and taking this course and advanced courses several times over the years, imagine my shock when she bested my score not only on the written portion but on the range!

Good job! I rode the Nighthawk in my class too. Was actually a fun bike. I got high score in the class on the ride and most of us aced the written. Now imagine how stupid I was fealing when I failed the state written exam. When I did it we still had to take the written for our endorsement and the wording was totally different (going in all cocky didn't help). Enjoy the ride and be safe.
