Twice yesterday while I was stopped at red lights, a Gold Wing rider came to a stop in the lane next to me (on my right). Twice I said hello. Twice I was ignored. You just have to love those guys. They are the most aloft riders I've ever encountered. They have snob all to themselves.

 

And someone who catagorizes all riders of Gold Wings as the same is not......

 

I've been ignored by riders on all types of bikes, whether I've been on a sport bike, sport-tourer, tourer or Harley. Maybe he's heard "Hey, why don't you ride a real bike" one too many times from a guy on a Harley.

 

Hey, what do you expect. He rides a Goldwing so he probably can't even read or write. He probably doesn't know how to wave either.

 

Maybe he was so focused on his GPS he didn't hear you.

 

Or possibly whipping up some lunch in his microwave.

 

On American Iron Forum in the Joke section there is a post about why Goldwing riders don't wave back you've got to read it...It is funny, but there is also one about why harley riders don't wave back too . Its also funny I didn't take any offense of it.

 

He probaly didn't see you he was to busy checking out the strange blip on his radar screen

 

Next time when you say hello and they ignore you just say in a louder tone,, hey your back tire is really low you might want to check it, naw I wouldn't,, well I might!!!

 

I disagree with you. Note that I said hello and was ignored. And yes, I will generalize to include all Gold Wing riders. They appear to be in or from la-la land.
