Yes I ride a harley, Yes I know they are rather expensive and can be big,heavy, loud and brash at times. Yes, I know other companies make bikes that are "more bang for the buck". No, Im not someone who is rich and wants a harley to be a fashion accessory. I have to work for everything I have and I dont have some plush job.I ride what I ride because its what I wanted. I like harleys clothing line but yet in most cases cant afford nothing more than the shirts. I put miles on my bike when I can and take it out every chance I get. I look at my bike for it is my passion to ride and work on it. Even though the "work" is just putting the accessories that I spent my hard earned money on. Yes I can do most of the maintenance on it as well, and love doing so. I dont hate on anyone for what they ride.....to me is that you ride is whats important. Just share the same care for yourself and the others around you to not act like a damn fool on your ride. I write this because Im tired of all the bashing. From harley haters and non bike lovers. For the bashers, please its just sad and I dont hate on you. I will ride with anyone that can ride right. And for non bike lovers bashing all bike riders........well if we have to explain your just not going to understand anyway.

Very well put. When I told some of my friends I was buying a Harley they looked at me like I was crazy. Have always rode crotch rockets. I have wanted a harley for about 15 years, but was never in the position to be able to afford one. Now that I am, I'm going for it.

 

Where do you guys run into these creatons? I"ve been ridein Harleys1969 and can count the number of wise cracks I've had on one hand, and they was easily handled, Id usually show them the odomater and it was usually tens of thousands of miles more than they had. So that usually shuts the crap spikot off.
Mayby you guys need to hit the weights and heavy bag more and mussle up! I'm serious, if yur catchin crap it's likely cause you look like a crap catcher.. If ya got lil pencil arms and a big fat gut they can tell by lookin at ya that you aint gona knuckle down their fricken heads, if ya did they'd keep their trap shut..
