Have you seen the movie Wild Hogs? Kids today are creatures of video culture. Typically the "6ft 4 and 260, lots of Tattoo's, Long hair, and I was wearin my colors" guy isn't usually painted as the good guy. I've been trying to open my own kids eyes more to the real world because in general, it is the opposite of what they see from the media. But I see it in their eyes sometimes. I live near HW66 and we see all kinds of bikers come thru. I find that I’m treated differently because I wear a helmet compared to the guy dressed the same without a helmet. I’ve also seen couples on Ultras and Goldwings are treaded differently than couples on Dynas or chopped bikes. You are a victim of todays media image. Truth is anyone who meets you is blessed and that is the best you can do. It is a great day for those folks and they will spread the word. Then maybe the next kid will take the risk and pull up next to you.
