A true hero indeed. Takes ***** to do what he did. Just wish he had been armed, things would have turned out differently. My prayers go out to him and his family.

The world is full of asshats that would ride on by. Yes, that means asshats like Jacker and his ilk. It is too bad the world is now short one of the people that would stop. Godspeed Rodney Wood.

Maybe the guy bit off more than he could chew but at least he had the ***** to make a stand. If everyone rolled over like you or looked the other way and kept riding then we're all doomed.

I cant cant even imagine sitting there talking to 911 and watching some inocent woman get mugged.

Couldn't agree more

This really upsets me..I can only pray for the family of this honorable man

Teaches us to maybe flag down help or start a scene so maybe he could back off with the arrival of a crowd WHILE the law was on the way. I dunno, I couldnt live with just ignoring it, but apparently you cant live with stopping it either.

Sick..

God bless him and his family. If there is a PGR ride for him, I'll do my level best to be there for it.

As for the "do nothing" posts, I've had to, in more than one instance, help a lone LEO, chase, tackle, and hold down and cuff a suspect. Sooner or later you gotta make up your mind to be either part of the problem or part of the solution.

this guy was not a vigilante he was trying to help a fellow human being that was being victimized by scumbags that prey on the weak or helpless and that people like you are so eager to protect

why dont you and biz44 go start your own small warm and fuzzy little nation

Very sad deal. It's stuff like this that really make me hope I never run into a situation like that. I think it would be tough for me to stop to be honest. My family means a lot more to me while I'm alive, than the opposite....prayers to the family.

But what if it was your family be assualted and someone else didn't want to get messed up in it. I think you might think different then, right.
