Default crane electronic ignition

Anyone have any experience/knowledge with cranes electronic ignition on motorcycles? Had been running P/C but it was suggested to consider the cranes electronic ignition.

Can't speak of the ignition module itself, but I did just install their single fire coil and it's been fine. I installed theres after the one I had from Ultima failed after just 2 years, I got a replacement from Drag Specialties and it was the same as Utima, so I decoded on Crane, I
will use there module if mine ever dies. I will say this, there tech line was GREAT with me, they helped me troubleshoot even though it wasn't there product.

I'm tired of the P/C. While it doesn't leave you stranded as long as you have extra set and condenser I am hoping Crane make a very reliable no fuss system.

Thanks for the input

I've got a Crane Hi-4 on my ironhead. Totally different bike. Starts up cold on the 2nd try every time. Idles fine even when cold. Basically, set it and forget it. This has got to be the best mod that can be made to an older bike. Put one on your shovel, you'll be buying me a beer and shaking my hand every time you see me. Just make sure that you put the Crane coil and plug wires in it too. I recommend the single fire.

I too installed the Crane Hi4-TC this winter and what an amazing difference over the stock ignition. It now starts instantly.. even cold. It was the perfect compliment to the cams, carb, and exhaust I also installed.

YES! By using the crane coil and plug wires you will be assured of a matched system. If not, it may not work right or for only a short time. Call the crane boys and ask them about it.
