dyno run and 2 into 1 pipes.

dyno run and 2 into 1 pipes.
Went and put my bike on the dyno. It's '05 Standard with stage II 95" kit with a carby and slip on SE slash cuts on factory headers. We were able to tweak it to 80 HP which I thought was pretty good (started on 76).
My next step is to fit a good set of 2 into 1 pipes but I would like to know if anyone here has done it and what would the expected gains be on the make of pipe you have. I have heard that 2-1 will give you more mid range torque rather than HP. Do you think that the gain v's cost is worth it?

RE: dyno run and 2 into 1 pipes.
I have mixed feelings on this, I swappped out my Harley S.E.Performance Touring slip on's for a set of Super Trapp 2 into 1's and gained 3 horse and lost 1 foot pound of torque. I only have ridden a short disstance since swap and am still undecided on if it was worth it. I also understand when you get up in the higher 90 hp range there is little change on each mod. That's interesting, I was actually recommended Super trapp or Sun headers by the dealer. With the price tags on these pipes I'll have to look into it more.

I think it depends on your mods. I think your bike would benefit from the Super Trapps, they were good quality and easy install. The bike also lost some weight putting them on and better access to doing repairs with them over stock system.
After re-reading my dyno chart...I picked up 10 foot pounds of torque at 3200 rpm...i'm smiling!
