Default motor cut out problem

bro stranded in indiana. 84 fxr motor cuts of while riding. replaced all fuel componets stator coil, wires, and all circuit breakers. any ideas would be appreciated.thanks

If the engine starts and runs after sitting for a few minutes I would suspect poor/restricted fuel flow to the carb. Some things would be: pinched fuel hose, fuel filter plugged, or the tank not venting thru the gas cap (obstructed vent hole) and allowing good fuel flow. Since the coil is new I'm not thinking about it heating up and and dropping voltage. Good luck.

that was our first thought to. everything has been replaced gas cap petcock down even rebuilt the carb. we are stumped. thanks for the reply.

is the coil grounding out ,are all battery connections clean

yes it runs for a while then cuts out. checked all electrical connection and dont see anything wrong. gonna go thru the whole harness and fuel system again.
