I have the HD premium Air Horn, its louder than stock but not great.&nbsp\\; I miss the Rivco horns I had on my Road King

 

I usually blinker them into submission!!!!!!

Either that or I'm trying to change how much treble the stereo is putting out

Anybody know of an aftermarket replacement that is LOUD but still fits under the stock chrome cowbell horn cover?[/align]

 

First, I wanted louder horns. Second, the removal of the "Harley look horn" provided more cooling for the cylinders. Finally, I do not care about any "Harley look". I make the bike the way I want it without worrying about what someone else thinks. However, thanks for your concern...

 

I really like the Rivco electrics.

 

Stebel Nautilus under the side cover (compressor under the seat) and a Freeway Blaster in place of the stock horn. Too many deer in my area so the horn always sends them running back into the woods or corn field..&nbsp\\;

 

I mounted some twin chrome air horns that I had lying about after one too many near misses. The very next day I had some cow in an SUV run a stop sign right in front of me. I had watched her come flying down the slip road and barely slow at the stop sign so I knew it was coming and left her the space. Just as she got straightened up I gave her a 5 second blast and watched her run completely off the road in the opposite lane trying to get out of the way.

 

There has got to be some real benefit in sounding like a train or transport truck, when some jerk beside you starts moving into your lane.
