Most common reason, too much oil. 2nd most common, hard throttle, high rpms. Its made that way, nothings broken.

Me and several other HD owners have to wear khaki slacks to work.&nbsp\\; We consider the oil spots under the right leg as badges of honor.

What engine do you have? My evos will do that but Ive never had it with a twin cam. On the evos I finally gave up and routed that hose down under the frame, but safely off to the side so it wouldn't get oil on the rear tire.

My twin cam will do it but not my evo. If I run the twin cam hard for awhile it will do it. There are several different ways to solve the problem and a few that claim to fix it. JBakers is the easiest and fastest way. There are a few oil mist separation systems that claim to work.

Install a bypass system, problem solved. Oil doesnt belong in the air/fuel mix anyway.

I was thinking of doing this, but re-using the charcoal canister that comes on California bikes for the purpose. Anyone done it or know if there are problems in doing so?
