Default Passing On The Right

Out riding last evening.Two lane road.Were turrning left.Cars were passing us on right.Is that allowed?

Varies state to state, I think. Maybe a hint that you are holding up traffic?

We werenot even stopped before they started passing!I think when they saw turn signal,they started passing us!

it can be unnerving when it happens to you. but i do it when on my bike or in the truck IF there is plenty of room to do so and I slow down to do it.

Happens here all the time, actually its more uncommon to not pass.

I had a young girl sneak between me and the curb to make a right turn. When she moved, she got a big black boot stripe down the length of her Lexus. Thought the guy behind her was going to die laughing.

On a 2 lane road with only a shoulder I dont think it is legal. It happens.

Not legal in Al. but very common. You dont have to hold up traffic, they are going around!l.ray[sm=biker.gif]
