Lucky the bar had an extra one laying around (it was a biker bar) along with some "very large" yellow glasses i could wear...

 

I have been leaving my helmet on the bike for 40 years and have only lost one or two. And the one I lost was locked on the bike.

I often leave my half helmet on the ground tucked under the bike a bit. I'm just waiting for some *** bag to walk off with mine too.

I also worry about my detachable backrest.................

 

I live in a helmet mandatory state, so if this happened I could not ride away, talk about pissed!!!!!

luckily i live in Florida..so no helmet law..but i prefer to wear one anyway

This is why I either lock my helmet or carry it with me. I do not trust anyone

 

I found cable gun locks to be good helmut locks
