I had the same thoughts as you and after renting all three of them I ended up with the Street Bob. Best fit for me.

Spend a few bucks and rent each one for a day, my dealer deducted the rental cost from the bike when I bought it.

I would go for night train if I could have afforded something newer than 89

Depends what YOU want to do with the bike; as a cool cruiser the Nightrain and Fat Bob have big appeal to their fans; the Street Bob is a bit more of a blank canvas if you're into modifications after purchase.......

Fat Bob, but I'm partial because I love the looks of my '08. Easy to dress up, and I can sit in the garage and tinker with it all day when it's too cold to ride.
